This is a small sterling silver dish which has been enamelled in the champleve and cloisonne style. The background has been hand engraved and it depicts a design of pebbles, seaweed and a little crab. It measures 53 mm in diameter and stands on a silver base 18 mm high. The rim is highly polished with a texture to the outside. The reverse of the dish has been hallmarked by the London Assay Office
