This is a cloisonne enamel on hand engraved silver pendant. It is inspired by the Damascene tiles in the Arab Hall at Leighton House Museum in London. It features carnation and tutils in a vase and is enamelled in vibrant shades of turquoise, purple, red, green and light blue. The pendant measures approximately 53 x 33 mm and hangs on a heavy silver rope chain which can be worn either 52 or 47 mm. The pendant carries the hallmark of the London Assay Office. It is one of a small series of pieces on this them. The first one was awarded a Bronze Award at the 2021 Goldsmiths’ Craftsmanship and Design Awards.
