My good friend Joy Funnel announced at the beginning of the year that she was doing a ‘Critter a Week’ challenge and invited people to join her. I knew I couldn’t keep up but then Jill Leventon posted that she was doing a ‘Critter a Month’. Great idea I thought so here is mine for January, only a few weeks late! He is a Zentangle Fish Brooch. He is 7cm long and sgraffito enamel on copper, finished with gold lustre detail. I rather like him and think I may do a few more for some of the seaside galleries I supply. What do you think? My February ‘Critter a Month’ is almost finished so watch this space! It’s not too late to join us and it would be great to have you. It can be any medium and it doesn’t have to be jewellery. Hope you can join us. It will be fun to see what we can all do, so join in a ‘Critter a Month’ and challenge yourself.
